Border Security
Currently the United States borders directly by land by two nations. These are Canada and Mexico. The Canadian Border is protected jointly by Canada and the United States. Also Alaska is likewise protected in the same manner. As the economies of both nations are approximate to one another, trade between the nations are enhanced.
Mexico, however is a different situation. With the Governmental Corruption, Legalized Drug Trafficking, and a depressed economy, and major gang activity we need to protect the Southern Border with Major Forces. Currently, with the Bush Policy, Mr. McConnel and Mr. Buning in consent, this border is NOT PROTECTED.
Mr. McConnell will tell you he voted for the Border Fence in 1985, but as of January 31, 2008, the fence has NOT BEEN BUILT. There is major Illegal Immigration to the extent the Border Communities currently live in fear of their lives. There have also been reports of Border Incursions, and Kidnappings along the Border.
Despite the Border Fence being defunded in the 2008 Omnibus Appropriations Bill (Budget), Private Entities have taken up the cause. As a result the Fence is being built, slowly.
Illegal Immigration
Illegal Immigration is an issue which affects the well being of our citizens, economy and safety. These Undocumented Persons may be criminals, terrorists, or they may just be people looking for work.
Along the Border Communities, the People live in Fear of Their Lives. There have been other "Sanctuary Communities" set up for these people to reside. Many of these communities are in California, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. The Federal Government is encouraging this activity and as a result these communities have seen a rise in the Crime Rate.

NAFTA and the Economy
The North American Free Trade Act might have been a good idea when it was created, however, with the inclusion of Mexico, with their depressed economy, corrupt government, rampant gang activity, and organized crime, the Treaty is an utter Failure.
What I propose is a common sense notion which provides for the Free Trade we need with Canada, while enacting tarriffs and duties for goods coming in from Mexico, and other UNFRIENDLY NATIONS currently enjoying FREE TRADE. This would provide for the preservation of the Manufacturing Jobs in the United States and Canada, while discouraging US companies from relocating to Mexico and elsewhere. It shall also pay for the needed security and inspection upgrades necessary to secure the Union.
As long as Mexico continues to disrespect our borders, export their citizens with force, kidnap our citizens, and claim injustices from our Officials, they should not have been allowed into the NAFTA treaty. This Treaty was supposed to support Fair Trade with Allies, not Free Trade with Enemies. What it has really done was line the pockets of our Politicians with Money.
We are also recieving much of our Military Equipment from Nations which mean to do us harm. Why is this? Why can we not be able to make our Military Equipment Domestically? Can you imagine any more nighmarish scenerio than to have soldiers in the field with equipment which doesn't work?
Deficit Spending
A man has a mortgage, wife and three kids. They just bought a car. They got a 5 year loan for the car. Life is good for this family in debt. Deficit spending is doing them just fine, thank you.
All of a sudden, the kids get sick, need medical care. The roof on the house is leaking buckets. The car breaks down, and the Man loses his job. Where are they going to get the money to take care of the important things? The bank will not loan them any more, because they haven't been paying the bills. Where is their money now?
Such is the illusion, the panacea, of easy credit. Yes, this situation is extreme, but it can happen to any of us. There is a variety of people out there which will tell you different things about credit. One thing they do agree on is credit is a tool.
Now, let's look at the Government, it's $9 trillion dollar debt. How much longer will we last? Seriously? Deficit Spending is at an all time high, houses are being forclosed on, our roads are not being financed, and our borders remain unsecured.
More Government is not the answer. It is the problem. We need to pare down the Government to a level we can afford. We need to reduce the size of the Government, and it's bondages. We need to change this Government's policies to be to the benefit of the people. Pork Barrel Projects for the Politicians, so they feel better, is definitely not the answer.
Once Elected, and the Borders are Secure, I will examine all current governmental programs to insure their necessity, economy, and efficiency. Only the programs which protect and defend this Nation will survive. Only those programs which serve the Citizens will survive. All others shall be defunded or eliminated.
The Constitution
We must return to our Basis for Being. The basis for all United States Law is the Constitution. We must reexamine all of our laws to be sure they conform to the Constitution.
Our Government has gotten too big and expensive. With the raise of the National Debt Ceiling to 9 million dollars, deficit spending must come to an end. The Democrats want us to be dependant, and the Republicans want us to work cheap. We must not choose between these two, but choose Prosperity. This is why I want the job.
Once we get a handle on the National Budget, we can cut costs, and then lower the taxes. I believe the top tax rate under the current system should be no more than 10%. I believe the current tax system is in real need of reform. I believe the Social Security Trust Fund, which has been raided, needs to be restored. I believe the National Highway Trust Fund also needs to be restored. The Governmental Trust Funds are there for a reason. To fund the real needs of the American Citizens.
I believe there are better ways for the government to raise money than extorting it from it's citizens. If I were to take money from one person to give it to another, I would be called a thief. Should the Government fare any better? We need to give the money, and power, that Government has taken, and give it back to the people. Only this way can the People return to their heritage of Faith, Love, Hope and Charity.
Foreign Aid
Currently, the Government sends money to Nations all over the World. This practice must stop. We must trade with the Nations of the World in PEACE. Not give WELFARE to CORRUPT NATIONS.
Our Traditional Allies are Canada, Great Britain, France, Spain, Portugal, and the other NATO nations. The United Nations has been extablished as a sounding board for the Nations of the World to settle their disputes. The UN has become corrupt, and has taken power to themselves. They are now working feverishly to become a World Government. The proposed Carbon Tax is literally a tax on the air we breath. It is literally MONEY COMING OUT OF THIN AIR.
Our Sovernity is at stake. Our Unique Position in the World makes it imperative the UN does not become a government, but stays as an association to work out the differences we may have. If the Ambassadors are not willing to do this, then the UN must be disbanded.
